Citrix buys XenSource, will Micro$oft by Citrix?
The article highlights a couple of important topics. “Citrix executives are said to have considered an acquisition of VMware four years ago, but were frightened off by fears that such a move would antagonize Microsoft materially.” The analysts are thinking MS will buy Citrix, which would be huge since Micro$oft’s virtualization of longhorn hasn’t really taken off as they promised at Vmworld 2006.
